To help those who dream about getting a college degree but need a little help figuring out where to start, VetCV is proud to support and partner with National Association of Veterans Upward Bound, a non-profit that serves America's Veterans by providing help to those who may need help getting ready.
VetCV CEO, Niels Andersen and Veterans Upward Bound (VUB) Pensacola State College Director and past VUB National President, Rob Gregg, have worked together on a number of projects and both serve on the Veterans Memorial Park of Pensacola Foundation Board. They immediately recognized that they share a common mission and over the years, have supported each other in a number of initiatives supporting Veterans and their families. Veterans Upward Bound is designed to motivate and assist veterans in the development of academic and other requisite skills necessary for acceptance and success in a program of postsecondary education. The program provides assessment and enhancement of basic skills through counseling, mentoring, tutoring and academic instruction in the core subject areas. The primary goal of the program is to increase the rate at which participants enroll in and complete postsecondary education programs. e's new mission was to lower these numbers by sharing his story and reaching as many Veterans as possible, before it was too late.
TeamVetCV fully supports the mission of this important non-profit Patriot Partner.
