Veterans Memorial Park, nestled in the cradle of Naval Aviation, is visited by hundreds of thousands of people from all around the country every year. Maintaining and repairing these historic Park memorials and monuments is an ongoing mission. These repairs and improvements are sought to daily and dignify this Hallowed Ground.
People visit the Park for Healing, Respite, Meditation, and Remembrance. The Park is home to numerous memorials and monuments to nearly every conflict our Nation has fought in, including the popular Wall South Vietnam Veterans Memorial, a memorial that will observe it's 30th Anniversary in the fall of 2022.
The health, wellness, and healing the Park provides so many is priceless. Veterans, families, and community groups utilize the Park for remembrances, reunions, or just sit to Honor friends and reflect. With an average of 22 Veterans taking their lives daily, the benefit of the Park cannot be understated.
